Our client, a 42 year old female, had been experiencing insomnia for more than six years. Her physician prescribed Ambien, a prescription sleep aid, as well as anti-anxiety medications. A few months prior to coming to our practice, our client began drinking alcohol a few nights a week since, even in increased dosages, the medications were proving ineffective.
After two sessions with Rebecca, our client increased the amount of hours she was sleeping from four hours a night to five hours a night. After three sessions, she increased her sleep time to 7 hours even while decreasing her medication. Since her five-session program ended more than one year ago, she continues to consistently have 6 hours of sleep nightly.
